About the band

Aunty Mary’s second divorce is an Australian four piece band formed in 2019 and is based in the town Byron Bay, NSW. The band consists of the members Marli Maddison (Lead Vocals), Maayan Barnatan (Drums), Lenny Thurgate (Guitar) and Zac Sandilands (Bass). The band channels sounds combining elements of Post-Punk, Country, New Wave and folk music.

The band has played various shows around the Byron Bay shire, however touring plans were cancelled due to Covid-19. Aunty Mary’s next movements are focused on releasing their full length debut album in 2021.
